The role is accountable for achieving sales and profitability targets across assigned countries while driving business growth through direct accounts and distribution partners. It combines strategic leadership with operational excellence, integrating sales, technical service, and long-term business strategies to meet regional objectives. The position oversees and develops sales and technical teams, ensuring alignment with market needs and company standards. Strong customer and partner engagement is essential, including managing key accounts, suppliers, and stakeholder relationships. Additionally, the role delivers accurate forecasts, financial monitoring, and data analysis to identify opportunities and support sustainable growth.
Sales & Business Development
Achieve sales and profitability targets across assigned countries.
Develop and expand Tier 2-1 direct brand accounts and partners.
Identify new business opportunities and implement strategies for growth in both direct and distribution markets.
Strategic Leadership
Integrate sales, technical service, and business strategies to meet regional goals.
Represent the voice of the customer in product management, marketing, and R&D discussions.
Provide business development ideas aligned with long-term strategy.
Team Management
Oversee sales and technical teams, including training, performance evaluation, and workload management.
Ensure team composition aligns with market needs and business strategy.
Promote Sherwin-Williams core values and standards within the team.
Customer & Partner Engagement
Build strong relationships with distributors, end-users, and approval-led stakeholders (OEMs, insurance companies, leasing providers).
Implement business-related services and support programs.
Operational Excellence
Collaborate daily with EMEA staff, GSC teams, and corporate functions.
Monitor financial performance, including P&L, accruals, and rebates in cooperation with finance teams.
Maintain ERP system functionality and ensure accurate data reporting.
Reporting & Analysis
Deliver detailed weekly and monthly forecasts, budgets, and sales reports.
Analyze data to identify gaps and opportunities in direct and distribution segments.
Key Account & Supplier Management
Own and manage relationships with key third-party suppliers and partners.
Proven experience in sales leadership within automotive refinish or related industry.
Strong strategic thinking and business development skills.
Ability to manage cross-functional teams and work in an international environment.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Fluent in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
