The incumbent is responsible for the strategic planning and achievement of projected sales targets for the
Back-End Business Unit
, specifically focusing on machinery and parts
.
The role involves coordinating technical and commercial discussions with customers and principals, providing high-level customer support, and managing the end-to-end sales lifecycle
.
Sales & Financial Management:
Forecast sales budgets for assigned product lines and ensure goals align with Business Unit objectives
.
Review sales performance and quotas during weekly management meetings
.
Manage the full closure of sales orders, including the monitoring of payment receipts
.
Relationship Management:
Foster and maintain strong relationships between global principals, local customers, and the company
.
Build rapport with customers to understand and attend to their specific technical requirements
.
Engage with relevant principals through trade shows, product reviews, and overseas training
.
Operational & Technical Support:
Coordinate with the Service Department to ensure seamless service support for customers
.
Participate in semiconductor exhibitions and industry shows in Singapore and other international locations
.
Identify and rectify technical issues through regular fortnightly service meetings with engineers and management
.
Business Growth:
Service current customer accounts while proactively expanding the account base for existing product ranges
.
Maintain an inquisitive mindset, regularly initiating training to stay updated on related technical product knowledge
.
Educational Background:
Minimum Diploma in
Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
.
Experience:

Manager Level:
5–8 years of experience within the semiconductor industry
.
Technical Skills:
* Strong electronics aptitude and technical know-how related to
Test and Assembly equipment
.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
.
Behavioral & Soft Skills:
Strong
business acumen
with the ability to set realistic individual targets

Ability to handle projects and assignments

with minimal supervision

Excellent written and oral communication skills in

Industry Network:
* Ideally possesses an existing, ready network with semiconductor customers in Malaysia

Referrals with key decision-makers within the semiconductor industry are highly preferred

Logistics:
Must possess a personal vehicle and be able to drive for business purposes; willing to travel overseas as required
