Koerber Japan / Pharma Machinery Division:We provide solutions and services for local pharmaceutical customers in Japan, with a wide variety of products ranging from fullsemi-automatic inspection machines, top load cartoners, blister machines, material handling equipment, isolators, etc.
Job Title: Koeber Japan located in Tokyo is looking for aSales Managerwith a strong focus on business development for the localpharma industry
Tasks:
After a comprehensive training, the following challenges await you as a local employee in Tokyo:
・ Acquisition of new customers and projects as well as expansion and management of existing accounts.
・ Maintaining and establishing trusted relationship with customers.
・ Making offers and conducting negotiations, contract conclusions in close coordination with the respective head offices in Germany, Switzerland and other locations.
・ Handing-over of projects to the project coordinator.
・ Conducting discussions about best suited solutions for our customers.
・ Order forecasting and planning; market analysis and reports, competition monitoring and reporting.
・ Handling sales administrative workissuing quotations, processing orders, making forecasts with tools, such as Sales Force, Excel, PowerPoint., etc.
・ Travelling in Japan: Approx. 30-50%
Qualification/Skills:
You will be part of our sales team in Tokyo. As our new colleague, you should have the following qualifications:
・ University degree in a technical or business fieldwith intensive(min. 5yr) experience in Sales.
・ Experience in sales of machinery in the pharmaceutical manufacturing process e.g. inspection machines, packaging machines, filling machines, etc.
・ Experience in the pharma industry and pharmaceutical production machinery.
・ Ability to discover market potentials and to identify sales opportunities with existing customers.
・ Ability to work independently, as well as a member of our international sales team.
・ Self-motivated, open minded and confident in appearance.
・ Willingness and flexibility to travel both domestic and overseas.
・ MS-Office knowledge/experience is required.
・ Efficient and professional communication skills, ability to present complex topics in a simple manner (Japanese and English).
