We’re looking for someone who’s able to develop and scale a sales team, and someone who can understand the power of our audience for both endemic and non-endemic advertisers. The ideal candidate will have an established record of sales leadership and revenue generation as well as a deep interest and passion for online and print media. This is a management position that oversees a growing team and reports to the Chief Sales Officer.
Job Duties:
Lead and mentor a high-performing sales teamFacilitate sales of integrated advertising packages across TRD’s suite of print and digital ad products + eventsTrack sales activity through the company’s CRM system (HubSpot) and ensure activity goals are metMentor team on sales practices and product knowledgeAssist in the recruitment of new sales representatives and train new team membersSet expectations with the Executive team through timely and accurate forecasting, pipeline, and sales activity reportingImplement a strategic sales plan with each member of the sales team
Job Requirements:
You have 5+ years of sales leadership experience with a proven track record of successYou have a deep understanding of the print and digital advertising landscapeYou are an effective communicator who can inspire others to achieve their bestYou are motivated, entrepreneurial, organized, energetic, and able to thrive in a high growth organizationPrior agency and brand direct relationships is a plusMedia and/or real estate experience is a plus.
