Job Description

Sales Manager

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric.
  • Minimum 5 years management role leading a team
  • Minimum of 5 years in a management role leading a team.
  • Marketing and/or Life Sciences/Chemical Engineering degree.
  • A good understanding of pricing structures and managing networking capital would be advantageous.
  • Required to travel when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop all sales activities of the sales team across the Consumer Division.
  • Support and manage relationships with key customers and principals.
  • Manage sales pricing and margins effectively.
  • Work with the Technical team to assist in product development initiatives and customer product support.
  • Prepare sales budget annually as required.
  • Drive Working platform.
  • Ensure Budget is met monthly and forecasting is accurate for a 3-year view.
  • Manage 1-2 key Accounts.
  • Manage relationships between finance, warehouse, customer care, and sales teams.
  • Market information on pricing trends, availability, and opportunities to be communicated weekly.
  • Mentor and coach sales team concerning Company core values as well as Safety culture.
  • Support Business Unit Manager
