As a
Sales Manager
for a global leader in
power transmissions and fluid power solutions
, you will drive regional growth for high-performance drive systems, hydraulic motors, and pumps. This role requires a technical "hunter" to secure new business with
Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
and distributors in the construction, agricultural, and material handling sectors across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
Strategic Growth:
Identify and acquire new OEM accounts in heavy machinery sectors (e.g., concrete mixers, excavators, and agricultural equipment).
Technical Consultation:
Partner with client engineering teams to propose customized transmission and hydraulic system configurations.
Account & Distributor Management:
Lead high-value partnerships and oversee a regional distributor network to ensure annual sales targets are met.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor competitor activities and provide technical feedback to global R&D teams for regional product optimization.
Commercial Leadership:
Manage the full sales pipeline, including accurate forecasting, pricing negotiations, and regional budget analyses
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or a related technical field.
Experience:
Minimum
7–10 years
of proven sales experience in
power transmissions, hydraulics, or heavy machinery components
.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of planetary gearboxes, hydraulic circuits, and axial piston pumps/motors.
Network:
Existing relationships with major OEMs and distributors in the construction or agricultural machinery sectors is highly preferred.
Attributes:
Results-driven, independent, and capable of delivering technical presentations to C-suite stakeholders.
Mobility:
Willingness to travel extensively across Malaysia and the Southeast Asian region.
