Founded in 1987, Tasmanian Walking Company (TWC) has been a pioneer in eco-tourism, offering guided walks in some of Australia’s most iconic landscapes. Over the years, TWC has expanded its offerings. In 2015, we expanded to the mainland and formed a partnership with the Australian Walking Company (AWC). In 2022, we introduced Guided by Nature, bringing our expertise to global destinations. At TWG, we are united by our passion for environmental sustainability, cultural integrity, and delivering extraordinary walking experiences.
About the role
This is a full-time position based in Launceston.
We’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Sales team and drive strong commercial performance while ensuring an exceptional guest experience from first enquiry through to booking.
Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sales team, support team development, and improve sales processes to maximise enquiry conversion and trip loading.

We follow best practice track guidelines on our walks. We follow designated trails and remove all waste from our huts, camps and lodge and recycle wherever possible. We ensure our guidelines are up-to-date by working closely with the Tasmanian National Parks and Wildlife Service.

Most recently, We are very proud to have taken out gold at the 2022 Tasmanian Tourism Awards in the Ecotourism category, as well as being a finalist for the Chair of Judges' Award for Positive Impact Tourism.
