Job Description


Job Summary:

CIG Motors is seeking a highly driven and performance-oriented
Sales Manager

to independently drive vehicle sales and revenue growth across B2C, B2B, and B2G segments. This role is for a senior sales professional who takes full ownership of the sales pipeline, market penetration, customer relationships, and deal closures without direct responsibility for managing a sales team.


The Sales Manager will serve as a key revenue driver and brand ambassador, managing high-value prospects, strategic accounts, and complex deals while delivering an exceptional customer experience.



Key Responsibilities:


Sales & Revenue Ownership


  • Drive direct vehicle sales across B2C, B2B, and B2G segments.


  • Achieve and exceed assigned monthly and annual sales targets.


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market intelligence.


  • Build and maintain a strong, active sales pipeline to ensure consistent deal flow.


Strategic Account & Relationship Management


  • Develop and manage relationships with key corporate and government clients.


  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable vehicles and financing solutions.


  • Provide excellent after-sales follow-up to drive repeat business and referrals.


  • Manage high-value and complex customer negotiations independently.


Sales Process Management


  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, closing, and vehicle delivery.


  • Conduct professional vehicle presentations, demonstrations, and test drives.


  • Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and documentation in line with company policies.


  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, logistics, after-sales) for seamless fulfillment.


Market Development & Brand Representation


  • Identify new market segments and opportunities for expansion.


  • Represent CIG Motors at exhibitions, trade fairs, corporate events, and promotional activities.


  • Support marketing campaigns to improve conversion and brand visibility.


  • Stay informed on competitor activities and industry trends.


Reporting & Compliance


  • Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, prospects, and sales activities.


  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates.


  • Ensure compliance with pricing guidelines, documentation standards, and ethical sales practices.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in automobile sales with a strong track record of target achievement.

  • Proven experience handling B2C, B2B, and B2G sales independently.

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.

  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems.

  • Highly self-motivated, strategic, and target-driven.

  • Ability to manage complex deals and strategic accounts independently.

CIG Motors Co., Ltd is the representative of GAC Motor in Nigeria. It began

its operations in 2013 following a pact signed with Guangzhou Group

Automobile Group Co., (GAC Motor) to establish and manage

distribution networks in Nigeria and subsequently Africa.

CIG Motors Co., Ltd started with the introduction of 2 major models;

the GA3 Saloon and GS5 SUV models of GAC Motor; with a subsequent

introduction of 3 more models in 2016 and 2017. As at date, CIG Motors

CIG Motors Co., Ltd recently signed another landmark technical assembly

agreement with a new partner, Jiangxi Jiangling Motors Import and

Export Co., Ltd, thereby extending it’s vehicle models to include all

commercial vehicles and cars of GAC, ZNA, Dongfeng (DFAC) and

JMC brands.

The company holds its brands in very high esteem and makes very

conscious investments behind the master brand and a focused

communication investment in the value proposition packages.
