Key Responsibilities
1. Parts Procurement & Supply Planning
- Develop national parts procurement plans based on sales forecasts, after-sales demand, and inventory levels to ensure timely availability of critical components;
- Coordinate with HQ or third-party suppliers to optimize procurement cycles and costs, and manage parts inventory turnover.
2. Pricing & Sales Support (Parts Inbound)
- Collaborate with marketing and after-sales teams to define pricing strategies for parts, balancing profitability and market competitiveness;
- Manage parts sales order intake, validation, and fulfillment tracking to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into supply actions.
3. Warehousing & Inventory Management
- Oversee local warehouse layout, capacity, and operational workflows to improve picking, packing, and shipping efficiency;
- Conduct regular cycle counts, monitor inventory accuracy, and handle obsolete/defective items to minimize warehousing losses.
4. Dealer Orders & Finished Goods Outbound
- Schedule outbound shipments for dealer orders (both finished goods and parts), coordinate transport resources to ensure on-time, in-full delivery;
- Track in-transit goods, resolve exceptions (damage, loss, delay), and enhance dealer satisfaction.
5. Data & Process Optimization
- Establish logistics KPI dashboards (order fulfillment rate, delivery lead time, logistics cost, inventory turnover, etc.) and generate regular analytical reports;
- Continuously improve logistics SOPs and drive process alignment with sales, after-sales, and finance teams.
6. Team & Vendor Management
- Manage third-party warehousing/transportation service providers, evaluating and improving their performance;
- Participate in logistics team building and daily supervision when required.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related fields;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or order management, with at least 2 years in end-to-end parts or product logistics operations;
- Familiar with Malaysia’s local logistics market, customs regulations, and warehousing practices;
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics management tools; advanced Excel and data analytics skills;
- Language proficiency: Fluent in both Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written) – able to communicate effectively with local dealers, government bodies, logistics providers, and HQ. Chinese is a plus;
- Strong cross-functional coordination and negotiation skills, capable of handling multiple priorities under pressure;
