If you are a Sales Leader professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you. Based in Istanbul, Turkey, you will lead business growth and market development for Emerson's Fluid and Motion Control portfolio across Turkey and CIS.

This role requires a highly visible commercial leader who understands the local market, builds trusted relationships with customers and partners, and translates market opportunities into sustainable business growth. You will drive commercial strategy, coordinate channel activities, engage directly with strategic customers and end users, and serve as the voice of the Turkish market within the wider Emerson organization.

The successful candidate will lead the full FLMC portfolio, including Aventics, ASCO, TopWorx, Afag, and Tescom, while supporting profitable growth through strong customer engagement, strategic account management, and effective channel collaboration.

Please note: This role is specifically focused on industrial automation, factory automation, fluid control, valve automation, pneumatic technologies, and motion control solutions. Candidates with experience leading commercial activities for manufacturers or distributors of these technologies will be particularly well aligned with the position.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Develop and execute the sales strategy for Turkey in alignment with Emerson's commercial objectives and growth plans.
• Drive profitable business growth by identifying, prioritizing, and converting high-value opportunities.
• Lead commercial activities across the full FLMC portfolio, including Aventics, ASCO, TopWorx, Afag, and Tescom.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, strategic customers, OEMs, EPCs, engineering organizations, and industrial end users.
• Engage directly with technical stakeholders and decision-makers to understand customer challenges and identify opportunities for Emerson solutions.
• Coordinate and support channel partners while maintaining direct visibility into customer activities and market developments.
• Work closely with local distribution partners, to ensure effective market coverage, customer support, and business growth.
• Regularly visit customers and partners to assess market opportunities, strengthen relationships, and ensure effective execution of commercial strategies.
• Act as the voice of the Turkish market by providing customer insights, competitive intelligence, and growth opportunities to regional and global leadership teams.
• Support the execution of strategic European initiatives while identifying opportunities within key growth industries and emerging market segments.
• Focus resources on the most promising customers and projects to maximize profitability and long-term business value.
• Lead, coach, and develop one direct-report sales professional while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline and support accurate forecasting and business planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and achieve business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, applicable regulations, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Proven commercial leadership experience within industrial automation, factory automation, fluid control, valve automation, pneumatics, or motion control.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding of valves, actuators, pneumatic systems, air preparation equipment, sensors, fluid control products, and factory automation solutions.
• Experience managing product portfolios serving manufacturing plants, machine builders, OEMs, and industrial end users.
• Demonstrated success developing business through distributors, channel partners, system integrators, OEMs, EPCs, and industrial customers.
• Established network within the industrial automation and manufacturing sectors in Turkey.
• Ability to engage effectively with both commercial and technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or developing sales professionals.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify, prioritize, and capture business opportunities.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Fluency in Turkish and English.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly and spend significant time in the field with customers and partners.
• Legal authorization to work in Turkey.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience managing distributor networks while maintaining direct engagement with end users and key accounts.
• Understanding of industries such as manufacturing, machine building, process industries, energy, infrastructure, or defense.
• Experience working within a global matrix organization.
• Educational background in Engineering, Automation, Business, or a related field.
• Ability to identify emerging market trends and translate customer and market insights into business opportunities.
