At P&G, our Key Account Trainees are at the heart of sales and the business, connecting the dots from every aspect - from financial, customers, shoppers, supply chain and people management. They are tasked to develop sharp and creative business strategies for different challenges a fast-paced landscape and competitors. Key account trainees will be entrepreneurs leading a team of multifunctional resources from the front line.

Your Team

The Key Account Trainee reports to the Sales Director and works closely with colleagues from other functions: Brand Management, Supply Operations, Finance, and more!

How Success Looks Like

P&G Key Account Trainees are sales entrepreneurs who come up with strategies to win in a diverse set of channels via our distributors in their respective markets. Learning about the category, product portfolio, the industry and the company's business practices will be essential. You'll help develop our distributors to influence customer decisions in critical business areas by using conceptual selling techniques and data-analytics.

You will be externally focused, on national key Customers, but also online retailers. You will get an understanding of the customers and shoppers needs. You will contribute to negotiations on prices, assortment, merchandising and promotions. You will collaborate with the whole customer team to prepare business plans and external negotiations.

You'll be part of a customer team in which trust, team spirit, real passion for winning and leadership are very important.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving overall business objective with the customers or channels.

  • Face of the Company to the customers. Develop excellent working relationships and in-depth understanding of customers and market landscape.

  • Leverage deep understanding of market & customers dynamic, shopper marketing knowledge, trade fund budget availability, supply chain operations to build and execute business strategies and plans.

  • Lead and partner with customers for business strategies implementation and plan execution. Conduct regular reviews with customers on different business aspects.

  • Strategize through harnessing the power of a team by envisioning, engaging and energizing multifunctional resources to build holistic business plan and break possible barriers & challenges to deliver the best result.

  • Manage sales representatives from capability building, issue resolution to day-to-day operation to ensure speedy and excellent execution in stores.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.

  • Open to fresh grads who have the passion to become Sales Key Account Managers

  • Advantage if you have past sales internships or internships in FMCG

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and influence stakeholders effectively.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
