Job Description

The Sales Intern supports the Sales Enablement team by organizing and standardizing sales training materials, documenting key sales processes, and assisting with continuous improvement efforts. The role also helps develop reporting tools for sales leadership and organize sales-related data. Overall, the internship offers hands-on experience in sales operations, process optimization, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, contributing to improved sales effectiveness, consistent onboarding, and scalable operations.

Core Functions:

  • Assist with documenting and standardizing sales processes and workflows.
  • Organize and update sales training documentation and enablement materials.
  • Maintain documentation repositories and version control.
  • Support preparation of onboarding and training materials.
  • Assist with tracking and supporting sales continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collect and organize customer and salesperson feedback data.
  • Assist with report creation and dashboard updates.
  • Support development of structured data sets for sales leadership.
  • Participate in team meetings and project reviews.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams as needed.

Key Measures of Success:

  • Documentation or update of 15–25 sales processes or training modules
  • Support of continuous improvement initiatives within the Sales organization
  • Development or maintenance of structured sales reporting resources
  • Accuracy and organization of sales documentation and data
  • Completion of assigned projects within established timelines
  • Demonstration of professionalism, reliability, and initiative

Education & Experience:

Minimum Requirements

  • Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in:
    • Business Administration
    • Sales or Marketing
    • Operations Management
    • Data Analytics
    • or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail

Preferred

  • Experience with data analysis or reporting
  • Experience with process documentation or project coordination
  • Exposure to CRM systems or reporting tools

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Work is performed in an office environment. This role will routinely utilize standard office equipment to perform the core functions listed in this job description. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies as well as communicate verbally and electronically. The work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive reading to perform the core functions listed in this job description. While performing the core function of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and stand.
