Position Summary
A Sales Floor Associate at Ace Hardware plays a key role in delivering the helpful, community‑focused service Ace is known for. This position supports customers with product selection, provides basic DIY guidance, maintains store organization, and ensures shelves are fully stocked and easy to shop.

- Must be at least 18 years old to perform propane‑related duties
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with locating products, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain product displays by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring items are properly labeled.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs or discrepancies to management.
- Operate the cash register when needed, including processing sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Keep the sales floor clean and organized, including folding apparel, arranging shelves, and maintaining visual standards.
- Follow company policies regarding loss prevention, safety, and customer service.
- Assist with receiving shipments, unpacking merchandise, and preparing items for the sales floor.
- Support team members during busy periods, promotions, and special events.
