We are investing in our Banking Solutions business and are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Executive to drive growth across the Nordic region. This is a strategic hunter role focused on winning new business with banks and financial institutions, selling market-leading payments and card solutions.

About the Team

You will join a high-performing Banking Solutions sales team responsible for delivering innovative payment, card issuing, card processing and banking technology solutions to financial institutions across EMEA.

Working alongside Product, Pre-Sales, Marketing and Delivery teams, you will play a key role in expanding FIS' footprint across the Nordic region

What You Will Be Doing

  • Drive new business acquisition across the Nordic banking market, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract signature.
  • Build and execute a territory strategy focused on Tier 1, Tier 2 and digital banks across the region.
  • Develop senior relationships with key stakeholders including Heads of Payments, Cards Directors, Chief Product Officers, CIOs and COOs.
  • Identify opportunities to position FIS' card issuing, card processing, payments and digital banking solutions.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and RFP processes.
  • Work closely with Pre-Sales and Product teams to develop compelling customer solutions and business cases.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, regulatory developments and the competitive landscape.
  • Deliver accurate pipeline management, forecasting and account planning.
  • Represent FIS at industry events, conferences and executive customer meetings.

What You Bring

  • Proven track record of winning new business within the banking and financial services sector.
  • Experience selling payments, cards, issuing, processing, banking technology or fintech solutions.
  • Existing network and relationships with banks and financial institutions across the Nordic region.
  • Strong knowledge of the payments ecosystem, including cards, issuing, acquiring, processing and digital payments.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex enterprise sales opportunities.
  • Ability to engage and influence both business and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience working on large-scale RFPs, tenders and strategic transformation programmes.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Fluent English required; additional Nordic language skills are advantageous.

Added Bonus If You Have

  • Experience selling card issuing or card processing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Nordic payments infrastructure and banking regulations.
  • Experience working with Tier 1 Nordic financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of ISO 20022, open banking, real-time payments or digital banking platforms.
