The Role: Your Impact
As a Sales Executive (NA), you are a key driver of growth across the business. This individual contributor role is focused on aggressive business development, new customer acquisition, and ensuring top-line growth in our fastest-growing market. You will be the bridge between cutting-edge material science and the world’s leading brands, fostering cross-functional collaboration to exceed customer expectations.
Location: Remote (Preferred location: West Coast, USA)
Travel: Ability to travel throughout North America
Reporting to: VP/GM, North America
Key Responsibilities
· Business Development: Identify market opportunities, assess the competitive landscape, and formulate sales tactics to drive new customer acquisition.
· Strategic Growth: Expand customer relationships and manage national and regional accounts to maximize revenue growth.
· Sales Forecasting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and consistently deliver against aggressive growth targets.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead the liaison between clients and TIPA’s global teams to ensure seamless project delivery and technical integration.
· Commercial Excellence: Manage customers of all sizes with a focus on high-touch engagement and rigorous negotiation.
· Market Intelligence: Stay proactive in identifying industry trends to ensure TIPA’s innovations are fully leveraged by partners.
· Internal Intelligence & CRM Excellence: Maintain 100% accuracy in the CRM (Zoho). Ensure all communications, project milestones, and deal stages are updated in real-time to provide a "single source of truth" for the global team.
· Proactive Pipeline Reporting: Deliver weekly and monthly internal reports to the GM and HQ, forecast volume requirements, identifying potential churn risks, and highlighting expansion opportunities.
What You Bring
· Industry Expertise: 4+ years of progressive experience in commercial packaging, with a strong preference for flexible packaging.
· Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in delivering aggressive growth and managing complex sales cycles.
· Technical Fluency: A technical understanding of the flexible packaging and converting industry.
· Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills for positive engagement with diverse stakeholders.
· The "Startup" Mindset: A proactive, energetic, and self-driven approach suitable for a high-growth, international environment.
· Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage complex timelines involving multiple stakeholders (converters, brands, and internal R&D)
· Education: University degree in a relevant field; an MBA is highly preferred.
