The Model-based Control & Optimization Sales Executive is responsible for direct sales of Rockwell Automation's Pavilion8 Software solutions. Additionally, they are responsible for sales of Rockwell Automation's other related digital portfolio products and solutions within their assigned Vertical Industry and region. The Model-based Control & Optimization Sales Executive develops sales strategy and activities associated with targeted software and solution sales campaigns. Daily activities will include collaboration with the regional sales management team and using the regional resources (technical experts, sales engineers) to implement both the regional and Rockwell Automation solution sales plans.

You will report to the Global Director, Simulation and Data Science Sale
Main Responsibilities:
Achieve Solution Sales Quota Targets. We require a given time to build the pipeline:
- Produce MPC revenue for Software, Services, and Maintenance.
- Monitor and report orders and pipeline results weekly by CRM tool to ensure performance goals are met.
- Responsible for closing deals while using and coordinate the district/regional sales resources involved in implementing identified sales-based campaigns.
- Guide "value" sales process throughout the regional sales campaigns
- Coordinate other teams (professional services, project management, executives)
- Prepare customer proposals
- Help develop project scope and ROI analysis
- Lead Generation and follow-up
- Accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- Leverage regional sales resources for target opportunity identification, Sales strategy development and client access
Manage Mutually Beneficial Relationship with Assigned Region:
- Be a primary liaison between customers, sales team members and RA software to ensure efficient communications and information flow from sales and pipeline development activities
- Provide formal monthly status reports to sales management which include forecast, pipeline and activity summary information
- Provide feedback to regional and commercial marketing and the business unit on commercial programs and sales tools
Leadership:
- Familiarity with procedures relating to standards of business conduct and trains and motivate team members in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such procedures.
- Conduct tasks following applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations, including state and federal laws. Additionally, follow Rockwell Automation procedures.
The Essentials – You Will Have:
- Bachelor of Science Engineering, other related technical field.
- Advanced English - Fluent Speaking and writing skills in English. Good written and speaking skills in local languages for the role location such as Spanish and Portuguese
The Preferred – You Might Also Have
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience working in industry and in direct sales of software solutions.
- Experience driving complex value-based sales campaigns.
- Understanding of competitors and general product offering
- Experience selling similar advanced process control solutions with experience that can be demonstrated
- Interpret PFD's, P&ID's to provide optimisation analyisis of the process
- Experience with Advanced Analytics (i.e. Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, neural networks, Advanced Process Control, Model Predictive Control)
- Understanding of our goals, and manufacturing processes and industry best practices across multiple industries
- Track record in dealing with complex global organizations.
- The ability to manage complex, multi-month projects and personnel. Track record in developing required training and presentation material content.
- Understanding of complete products/solutions offering and able to position an high-level technical dial.
