Microchip USA is an independent technology distributor headquartered in Tampa, Florida, with additional offices in Houston, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen, China, and a prior presence in Europe. We specialize in sourcing hard-to-find, end-of-life, and excess electronic components, supporting some of the world’s leading manufacturers when traditional supply chains fall short. In a market where availability, speed, and trust matter, we help our clients solve complex supply chain challenges, often when others cannot.

The Opportunity

We are looking to add driven, high-energy professionals to our growing team. This is a full-cycle sales role where you will build your own book of business, develop relationships with key decision-makers, and operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

This is not a transactional sales role; this is about problem-solving, market awareness, and creating value for clients in real time.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and manage your own client portfolio through outbound outreach and inbound opportunities

  • Develop relationships with procurement, supply chain, and executive-level contacts

  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities as conditions shift

  • Navigate and close complex, high-value transactions

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a seamless client experience

  • Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and availability

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong work ethic and a high level of personal accountability

  • Competitive, driven, and motivated by performance and earnings

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Coachable, adaptable, and eager to learn

  • Sales experience (cold calling or similar) is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

  • $50,000 base salary + uncapped commission

  • Typical first-year earnings: $100,000–$125,000+

  • Flat 10% commission on gross profit (no tiers or thresholds)

Work Environment

  • Full-time, in-office role based in Houston, Texas

  • Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST / 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST (includes a paid lunch break and afternoon break)

  • Fridays: performance-based early release
