As the Customer Development Executive Field Ops, you will drive localized business growth and market share expansion for key retail accounts within the Dominican Republic. Reporting directly to the Customer Development Manager / Team Leader, you will own the commercial relationship and negotiate directly with store-level buyers to achieve aggressive sales and profit targets. This dynamic position offers the unique opportunity to directly influence consumer purchasing decisions by managing field service providers and ensuring the flawless execution of Colgate’s 7P strategy at the point of sale.
Responsibilities:
Drive 7P Execution: Lead the store-level implementation of the 7P strategy (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, and People) by providing clear direction to field service providers to ensure flawless execution and optimize sellout performance.
Strategic Business Analysis: Conduct thorough FADE (Focus, Analyze, Develop, Execute) analyses to identify market trends, recommending actionable inventory and sales insights to the Customer Development Manager (CDM) and store managers.
Inventory & Stock Optimization: Monitor store inventories and proactively address out-of-stock (OOS) scenarios by collaborating with merchandiser supervisors, store staff, and buyers to secure additional orders and ensure continuous product availability.
Commercial Negotiation: Secure competitive advantages at the point of sale by negotiating incremental shelf space, secondary placements, and high-impact out-of-store visibility solutions aligned with brand objectives.
Stakeholder Alignment Facilitate regular performance and alignment reviews with store managers, presenting visibility on product rotation and commercial opportunities to strengthen corporate relationships.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
At least 1 year of experience in a commercial or sales-focused role.
Intermediate-to-advanced English language proficiency.
Proficiency with Google Suite tools (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
Proven background in Trade Marketing and commercial negotiation.
Tech-savvy with an aptitude for utilizing AI tools to optimize field data and workflows.
