We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to join the fast-growing Energy Team here at Radius

You’ll report to Becky Barton, Sales Supervisor, on a day-to-day basis, supporting a wider team.

  • Deliver high-value sales by converting qualified opportunities while proactively generating new business through divisional referrals and customer data enrichment.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records and pipeline management within the CRM to support forecasting and business reporting.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales and performance targets.
  • Identify and refer opportunities across other Radius Business Units in line with internal referral objectives, supporting wider group growth.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage workload and priorities independently.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the wider sales team, contributing to a high-performance culture and sharing best practice.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, including Equal Opportunities, Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-Harassment policies.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with the role as required by the business.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Minimum 12 months' experience in a B2B sales role, preferably within the Irish or UK energy market.
  • Highly desirable: Previous experience selling electricity, gas, utilities, or other regulated commercial services.
  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment such as telecoms, utilities, insurance, financial services or business services.
  • A proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Experience generating self-sourced business through prospecting, networking, referrals and customer research.
  • Comfortable working in a highly target-driven environment with the resilience to perform under pressure.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify customer needs and articulate value.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline using a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce or a similar platform.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • A collaborative team player who contributes positively to team performance while taking ownership of individual results.
