We’re looking for a motivated and dynamic Sales Executive – Outdoor to join our expanding team. In this role, you’ll strengthen relationships with existing clients while driving new business growth through your strong sales skills and proactive mindset. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Drive Revenue: Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by proposing the company's products and services at optimised pricing levels.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, industry benchmarks and competitor movements to effectively position Rentokil Initial’s unique value propositions.
- Prospect Generation: Actively prospect, develop a healthy sales pipeline and execute strategic market development initiatives.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct on-site inspections and client visits to assess needs, deliver presentations and propose tailored make solutions.
- Customer Experience: Act as the primary point of contact for new accounts; urgently resolve client complaints and handle customer’s’ queries in accordance with company policy.
- Sales Administration: Manage day-to-day administrative sales workflows, including drafting proposals, executing service agreements and maintaining the system.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance departments to ensure seamless service execution and collection of payment.
- Agility: Maintain flexibility to support the broader business on ad-hoc projects and urgent operational tasks as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience: Proven track record in B2C/& B2B sales, business development, or outdoor sales (experience in service industries, pest control, or hygiene is a strong advantage).
- Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Attributes: Highly agile, resilient, and comfortable conducting hands-on on-site inspections at client premises.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable utilising modern systems and mobile sales tools to track KPIs.
- Mobility: Possess a valid driver’s license and own transport for frequent client visits in outstations.
Highly Desirable:
- Excellent sales, solutions & negotiation skills
- Ability to reach & exceed sales targets
- Versatility to build rapport with people at all levels
- Multi-lingual in both verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia, able to converse in decent clear communication. Ability to converse in other local dialects will be an added advantage
