What's the role?

As a Senior Sales Executive will contact assigned Ad Agencies to follow up with clients as well as to look into new opportunities of direct advertisers to offer local advertising throughout our available cable television networks or other advertising product offerings and special programming. Is responsible for achieving sales and/or profitability goals, build and maintain relationship and engagement with actual and new clients.

How can you add value?

  • Able to handle a budget of millions of dollars.
  • Be knowledgeable or develop extensively the direct sales market following direct sales strategies and the direct sales internal plan presented since October 2018 and implemented in February 2019.
  • Be able to negotiate proactively and with knowledgeable to be able to complete sales process, not only providing proposals, but also with reasonable closing ratios, based on the guides and budget plans, as established by the local manager.
  • Meet or exceeds established quotas, both direct and agencies, as described in the commission structure and guides and procedures of the Media Sales.
  • Concentrate responsibilities on prospecting new sales using positive direct sales strategies to attain personal visits to present sales
  • Maintain, secure and protect relationship of the list of agencies assigned, looking to any opportunity of growing Liberty’s sales share.
  • Increase revenue of existing customers by establishing excellent business relationships.
  • Perform constant and extensive opportunities of new agencies’prospects to have a solid base list to develop into new sales.
  • Constant proactive strategy of prospecting and developing new clients.
  • Complete and constant Knowledge and acquainted with proposal rates & programming being offered.
  • Demonstrate and ensure compliance with Liberty Latin America Privacy Policy, the Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty Latin America policies, and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures.
  • Other functions may be assigned.

What do you need?

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.). Marketing and/or Advertising preferred.

3-6 years of media sales experience including radio, newspaper, TV & other related media.

Other Qualifications:

  • Full knowledgeable of Media Metrics such CPM rates and shares.
  • Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English).
  • Good prospecting and cold calling skills.
  • Knowledgeable within broadcast television and cable industry and media related sales including newspapers and radio.
  • Comprehensive product and market knowledge.
  • Strive to work efficiently in a team oriented, high demand, fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at a time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and positive interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Outstanding presentation abilities.
  • Computer-literate (Microsoft Office).
  • Valid Chauffer license and valid car insurance coverage.
