The Sales Executive will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals, while maintaining and growing business with existing customers. This role will interact with small, medium, and high-profile accounts within the education value-chain, including schools, education suppliers, EdTech companies, and training providers. We are looking for a competitive, dynamic, and trustworthy sales executive to help build up our business from the ground up. If you have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable reaching out to potential customers to demonstrate our services and products through email and phone, we'd like to meet you.
Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their business needs. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations and proposals on products and services.
Manage existing accounts to maintain the business relations with them and grow the commercial cooperation.
Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
Achieving and exceeding agreed show and personal revenue and profit targets
Collaborate with team members to achieve better results. Work closely with editorial, marketing and ability to operate as one team.
Attend events and liaising with exhibitor and sponsor clients onsite to ensure that their contract is fulfilled, and all their concerns and needs are addressed.
Keep up to date via a wide range of material including various industry publications relevant to the topic areas and audiences of assigned conferences for developments and trends in the industry.
Understand the market trends, changes and overall situation to be able to offer value proposition to the clients.
We are looking for an experienced and influential individual with excellent sales skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment and keen to build a career in the exhibitions industry as the show grows.
