Job Description

About the role:

In the role of Sales Executive - Americas, based in New York, you will be responsible for personally driving go-to-market efforts in the region. In particular, you will be responsible for leading campaigns and delivering the net new ACV. This will predominantly come from securing new logo clients by utilizing the power of contracts already in place, it will also involve working alongside account managers for existing clients - leveraging your specialist knowledge and network in this space.

You will also have significant exposure to Executive management and their respective teams (Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing etc). Consequently, your ability to communicate clearly, concisely and across verticals both externally and internally will be a crucial skill in this role.

What you’ll do in this role:

·Establish, maintain and nurture senior client connectivity within your target account list (C-suite, Heads and COOs of Markets, Operations, Compliance, Technology etc). You should be able to clearly articulate the value proposition across business lines and geographies.

·Initiate and accelerate new opportunity pipeline through leveraging your network, credibility and knowledge.

·Grow business through active participation in partnerships with large vendors, Fintechs / Regtechs, consultants, content providers and regulators.

·Maintain accurate and reliable opportunity pipeline management to ensure your contribution to global figures is robust.

·Leverage tooling such as Slack, Salesforce, G-suite to build out formal, forensic account plans and contact mapping for their target clients.

·Provide senior management steer to the contract negotiation process to accelerate deal cycles whilst also optimizing commercial deal structures.

·Help align our clients’ forward-looking strategy to our own internal Product and Engineering development.

·Participate in business planning with the Global Head of Sales and executive leadership teams to help shape the company’s future direction.

·Ensure cohesive, consistent communication between internal teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales & Account Management, Operations, HR) as well as with our clients.

What we are looking for:

·Strong “enterprise sales” and/or Regtech experience with proven ability to hit personal revenue targets

·Proven track record of selling complex Regulatory Reporting or Front Office compliance software products

·Entrepreneurial, self-starter, solutions focused mindset with a “can-do” attitude

·Proven ability to establish relationships with C-level decision-makers, ideally within global institutions

·Strong “deal closing” capabilities to ensure maximum client control, revenue maximization and shortened sell-cycles

·A good understanding of trading, compliance, operations and regulatory frameworks

·An ability to understand and dynamically describe the Capital Markets ecosystem

·Strong personal network

·Challenger mindset, resilience, tenacity, and ability to work under pressure

·Natural team player who can seamlessly contribute as a key member of a broader business development team

·Sharp organizational and presentation skills

·Clear, precise and strong communicator

·Excellent influencing skills with the confidence and maturity to have instant credibility at all levels of an organization, both internally and externally

·A true passion for delivering a ʻbest-in-classʼ customer experience

·BA, BSc or equivalent degree required

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $140,080.00 – 238,120.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
