Drive sales for Lube Oil Testing Services across multiple sectors.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and contracts.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support strategic planning
Specific responsibilities:
Drive sales across assigned sectors, achieve targeted sales revenue and expand market share.
Draw prospect list and develop new clients.
Grow and retain key clients.
Develop new services, products and concepts for the assigned market segment.
Translate business strategy into pragmatic action plans and execute the plans.
Maintain awareness and understanding of all SGS services, ensuring that full range of SGS services are presented to new and existing clients to maximize sales opportunities.
Promote the image, capability and integrity of the company to our clients.
Ensure timely creation of quotes and professional submission of all information as requested by clients, ensure follow-up.
Negotiate and secure contracts.
Manage pre and post contract commercial issues.
Support for collection of payment from clients.
Analyze market potential and develop competitive positioning and pricing strategies.
Track competitor activities.
Monitor market for the development of new technologies and trends.
Source and coordinate with SGS affiliates and/or subcontractors for subcontract engagements.
Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity.
Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in sales or technical support, preferably in lubricants, oil analysis.
Understanding of lubricant applications such as transformer oils, turbine oils, industrial lubricants, is an advantage.
Familiarity with technical sales and client relationship management.
Self-motivated with results driven approach.
Customer-focused with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Candidates without relevant experience are welcome if with, strong interest in sales.
Demonstrates a positive work attitude and strong work ethic.
Strong ability to close deals and maintain long-term client relationships.
Basic understanding of lube oil testing and condition monitoring.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively between clients and internal teams.
Strong analytical skills to interpret client needs and propose suitable solutions.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
Quick decision-making, strong problem solving and resolution skills.
