Activities:
Process all reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by phone, email or fax in a courteous, efficient and professional manner.
Process all direct and third party reservations in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure all rates and packages are maintained in the various reservations systems
Monitor web sites to ensure content, including images and descriptions are correct and up to date.
Ensure all Guest Services Agents are up-to-date on all local information, hotel services and the current packages, promotions and procedures.
Continuous review/auditing of the hotel systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure accuracy of reservations data. These quality checks include but not limited to: Inventory/Availability, reservation accuracy for transient, group and FIT’s.
Monitor reservation inventory and block allotments to ensure maximum profit is achieved
Conduct competitor pricing analysis to ensure best position is achieved with competitive set.
Process deposits as required for individual and group reservations.
Analyze social media data metrics and adjust strategies.
Maintain all hotel social media platforms, ensuring content is accurate. Proactively promote events all hotel services.
Assist with coordinating and implementing special sales promotions and packages
Assist with group bookings as required by entering rooming lists, managing blocks and preparing group files.
Empowered as required to meet and/or exceed the expectations of internal and external guests
Assist the Sales Manager & Director of Sales as required to complete daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
Note: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
COMPETENCIES WE ARE SEEKING:
Education/ Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Two years’ experience in sales and supervisory experience desirable. Special consideration will be given to those who exhibit exemplary performance.
