We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to manage construction projects. The role of the Project Manager Estimator Lumber and Building Materials requires excellent organizational and communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Assist management in planning and scheduling project timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members.
  • Resource Management: Assist in managing project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient use and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and client specifications.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and address potential issues or delays promptly, proposing solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Safety Compliance: Support the enforcement of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Financial Tracking: Assist in tracking project expenses and managing budgets, ensuring cost-effective project delivery.
  • Client Relations: Help maintain strong relationships with clients by providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or queries.
Qualifications:

  • Preference give to those with experience in construction project management or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the LBM industry.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with both building materials supply and general contracting.
  • Familiarity with construction management software.

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
