About the Role

Are you an experienced estimator with a passion for residential construction and strong negotiation skills? We are seeking a Sales Estimator to join our dynamic team! This exciting role offers an opportunity to work on custom home build projects, manage pricing and supplier negotiations, and deliver detailed and accurate estimates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate pricing for client-requested upgrades and custom home builds.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with external suppliers and stakeholders.
• Review engineering drawings, color schedules, and other technical documents.
• Respond to internal and external queries regarding pricing, costs, and project details
• Investigate and complete extra over purchase order invoices through the Therefore accounts system.
• Prepare and deliver detailed Master BOQs and production estimates.
• Measure and calculate material costs and ensure project budgets are met.
• Select and place purchase orders to ensure timely procurement.
• Provide excellent customer service to trades and suppliers, fostering strong relationships.

Skills & Experience:

Required:

• Strong knowledge of Databuild, Onsite Companion, and Client Manager.
• Experience within the residential sector, particularly with high-volume builders.
• Proficiency in Sales & Production Estimating.
• Excellent computer skills, including project management software.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred (but not essential):

• Knowledge of Bluebeam software.
