Gallery is seeking a Sales Estimator to join our Construction Team. This role will play a critical role in supporting the Estimating Manager and contribute to the successful planning and execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Estimating - Complete manual take off using excel spreadsheet and Bluebeam
  • Produce BOQs through Databuild software
  • Sales Estimating - Provide prices for client upgrades/Contract variation items for the Color and Sales Departments
  • Sales Estimating – request quotes from external suppliers and review and access trade quotes
  • Raise, process, and finalise post-contract variation requests efficiently.
  • Manage over-order and number Purchase Orders invoices for accounts, identifying discrepancies and duplicate invoices, and following up with Supervisors or Suppliers to ensure accurate payment, and rejecting any invoices that show overcharging.
  • Maintain both personal and shared variations inbox, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Create, revise, and accurately send purchase orders (POs) in a timely manner where applicable.
  • Develop furniture agreement schedules and set up furniture package Purchase Orders, as well as coordinating orders and installation with suppliers.
  • Request and check quotes from suppliers.
  • Revise orders based on updated quotes and project requirements as needed.
  • Review and analyse updated supplier pricing lists to ensure system accuracy.
  • Set up and verify commission Purchase Orders and referral partner details for accurate commission payments.
  • Maintain organised documentation for all quotes, variations, and supplier communications.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years minimum of experience in an Estimating role

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
