Job Description

The Sales Engineer works in tandem with Direct Sales Team, Product, and Professional Services to provide and demonstrate customized environments to help address prospect scenarios during the sales process. This position reports to the Lead Sales Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Becoming an expert in the nCino KYC product solution and API integration capabilities.
  • API integration
  • Collaborating with the sales and onboarding teams, to understand the client’s objectives & needs and to advise on the strategy for how nCino KYC should be implemented
  • Assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required; including completing technical responses to RFPs and RFIs as needed
  • Preparing technical presentations & specific product demos to explain the nCino KYC product & communicate the value of the solution to clients
  • Autonomously designing and delivering complex configurations in a way that addresses all of the client's objectives, while allowing for future scalability.
  • Managing several complex customer engagements simultaneously & creating lasting, mutually beneficial relationships
  • Autonomously designing & developing the appropriate solution that addresses all of the client's objectives, while allowing for future scalability
  • Managing & coordinating internal resources and delegating where needed ensuring all work meets the highest level of standard
  • Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these as well as possible solutions to leadership to help shape the evolution of our product
  • Training the internal teams on the technical aspects of the company's products and services
  • Representing nCino KYC in client-facing meetings by presenting to users and key stakeholders
  • Spending time with clients to understand their processes to advise how nCino KYC should be configured for their organisation
  • Ensuring a clearly mapped out delivery timeline and project plan that will enable key external stakeholders to quickly gain value from nCino KYC
  • Troubleshooting and resolving API integration issues
  • Assist in the configuration and workflow of clients nCino KYC Instance
  • Explain Technical aspects and backend infrastructure of the solution to external stakeholders and prospective customers
  • Manage Partnerships technical aspects and queries regarding integration enhancements and changes

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years API and Integrations experience
  • Hands-on nCino administration and/or implementation skills

Hands-on experience in:

  • Postman
  • Confluence
  • Lucid Charts
  • JSON formatter /Validator
  • Proficient in Administrative tasks such as creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Email Services, Approvals, Workflows, Reports, Dashboards, Tasks and Events
  • Experience designing Custom Formula Fields, Field Dependencies, Validation Rules, Work Flows, and Approval Processes for automated alerts, field updates, and Email generation per application requirements
  • Highly professional with strong communication skills especially in solving complex credit related challenges in the financial services industry

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 40%
