
The Sales Engineer will support the design, implementation, and delivery of integrated technology solutions for enterprise, commercial, and Gov-Ed customers. This role requires strong expertise in physical security systems, networking, cloud-connected platforms, low-voltage infrastructure, and enterprise IT environments.
The role partners closely with sales, engineering, project management, and customer stakeholders to develop scalable integrated solutions that align with customer operational and security requirements. Responsibilities include customer-facing technical consulting, solution design, deployment support, and serving as a trusted technical advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Serves as a technical subject matter expert for integrated systems including access control, video surveillance, IoT devices, networking infrastructure, and cloud-based security platforms.
Collaborates with account executives, project managers, and customers to design enterprise-level integrated technology solutions.
Conducts customer discovery meetings, site assessments, and technical consultations to identify operational and security requirements.
Develops system architectures, scopes of work, bill of materials, and deployment recommendations for enterprise environments.
Provides technical guidance and support throughout the sales, implementation, and post-deployment phases.
Troubleshoots technical issues and address customer concerns related to networking, system integration, and platform interoperability.
Delivers technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams.
Coordinates with manufacturers, vendors, and internal engineering teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Supports large-scale deployments across multiple locations and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Travels as needed to customer sites for meetings, installations, commissioning, and project support.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Security Technology, or related field preferred.
Experience / Technical Requirements
3+ years of experience in systems integration, sales engineering, or technical consulting supporting enterprise customers.
Experience working with enterprise physical security systems including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and IoT-connected devices.
Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, HTTPS, NAT, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work directly with enterprise IT teams, facilities teams, security directors, and executive leadership.
Familiarity with low-voltage cabling standards and integrated building technologies.
Experience supporting multi-site enterprise deployments and large-scale integration projects.
Background working in fast-paced integration, managed services, or technology consulting environments.
Certifications
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Security+, Network+, CISSP, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or related certifications.
Experience with Active Directory, SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, APIs, scripting, and automation tools.

Salary Compensation Range: $75,000 to $92,000 plus commission
