Job Description

Company Background:

We are representing a well-known oil and gas equipment company in Miri, Sarawak As they are expanding, they are looking for Senior Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer to join their team.

Job Requirements:

  • Handling customer enquiries from portal or direct from customer, customer coverage, sales pursuit & follow-ups
  • To communicate directly with principal in getting information for proposal preparation and to follow principal requirement in reporting and sales program
  • Prepare technical proposals and quotations that are accurate, technically verified and in line with customer requirements.
  • To perform sizing for control valve application
  • To meet annual sales target for both company & Principal
  • Attend site visit and supervising site acceptance test ( SAT ) / factory acceptance test ( FAT )

Requirements & Details:

  • Minimum Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in petrochemical, oil & gas industry or other related industry in MRO sales and support role
  • Technical knowledge in selection of control valve, choke valve, actuated on/off valves and manual valves will be an advantage
  • Experience in preparing tender documentation and familiar with Petronas PTS & Shell MESC requirement.
  • Familiar with Upstream and Downstream, power plant end users, consultants and EPCC will be an advantage
  • Possess valid driving license and own transport and willing to travel
  • Working Day: Monday to Friday (9:00AM to 5:30PM)
  • Average 2-3 months annual bonus
  • Medical coverage provided
