Our R&D department based in Nonantola (MO) is a center of global competence for Compact Hydraulic products.

Job Description

To support the growth of the Compact Hydraulics business in the mobile machinery sector, we are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate will combine technical and commercial expertise to support market and application development.

The successful candidate will join the Sales team and will be responsible for developing relationships with OEM customers and distributors, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting Compact Hydraulics solutions.

Main Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Manage and develop the assigned customer portfolio.
  • Identify new business opportunities and new projects with existing and potential customers.
  • Promote the Compact Hydraulics product range and solutions.
  • Define and implement sales development plans in collaboration with management.

Technical and Commercial Support

  • Analyze customer application needs and propose the most suitable solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Application Engineering team to define technical solutions.
  • Support the preparation and negotiation of commercial offers.
  • Manage the quoting process and the follow-up of opportunities.

Analysis and Reporting

  • Update and maintain company systems (CRM/ERP).
  • Monitor performance, pipeline, forecasts, and project progress.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and sales plans.

Qualifications

Education

  • Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Automation, or Management Engineering, or related technical disciplines.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical-sales roles, Application Engineering, or Sales Engineering within industrial sectors.
  • Experience in the hydraulics (oleodynamics), mobile machinery, or industrial automation sector is highly preferred.

IT Skills

  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.

Languages

  • Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
