Your role and responsibilities
ABB's Machine Automation division, also known as B&R, is a global supplier of innovative industrial automation technologies. Headquartered in Austria, the organizationoperatesin over 100 locations worldwide. B&R has been part of ABB since 2017.
As a leading global provider of automation solutions, B&Rdevelops, manufactures, and sells industrial electronics, software, and mechatronic solutions, as well as machine and factory automation technologies. Since 2020, B&R’s automation portfolio has also included Codian brand delta robots.With its innovative solutions, B&R sets new standards and consistently exceeds customer expectations.
The person hired for this position willbe responsible fordeveloping sales and strengthening the B&R Industrial Automation brand among machine manufacturers (OEMs) within the designated region. The scope of responsibilities includes bothacquiringnew customers andmaintainingas well as further developing cooperationwith existing business partners.
You will bemainly accountablefor:
Building,maintaining, and developing long-term relationships with existing clients.
Activelyacquiringnew customers in the central Poland region.
Providing comprehensive technical consulting and selectingappropriate productsand solutions in the field of industrial automation.
Preparing and presenting commercial offers and conducting negotiations.
Delivering product and sales presentations at customer sites.
Cooperating with internal company departments, in particular technical support, order management, and marketing teams.
Qualifications for the role
Higher technical education, preferably in industrial automation, electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.
Solid technical knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.
3-5years of experience in sales or technical sales support (or similar roles) within industrial automation solutions for machine builders or manufacturing plants, and/or experience in selling or integrating control systems or working with industrial clients.
Knowledge of sales techniques, presentation skills, and negotiation techniques is an asset.
Experience working with CRM systems.
Proficiencyin English enabling fluent communication and full professionalproficiencyin Polish.
Valid category B driving license and readiness for business travel within the assigned territory.
