Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and technically savvy Sales Engineer to join our team in Rotterdam, Netherlands. As the Sales Engineer for the Benelux region, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth by combining your technical expertise with strong sales skills to deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Benelux region, understanding their technical needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to customize products and services to meet client requirements
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on our products and services
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted strategies for the Benelux market
  • Travel within the Benelux region to meet clients and attend industry events
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in the industry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or a similar role, preferably in the Benelux region
  • Strong technical knowledge of engineering products and services
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Dutch; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Familiarity with Benelux market dynamics and business practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the Benelux region
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and client needs
