PURPOSE
The Sales Engineer is responsible for representing SMC in all business activities associated with assigned accounts. The position also has the responsibility to create and develop new business, new relationships to increase market share and obtain annual growth. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting, selling, and maintaining relationships with clients interested in automation solutions.

The Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving sales revenue, expanding the customer base, and promoting the adoption of automation solutions within target markets. By leveraging strong interpersonal skills, technical knowledge, and sales acumen, the Sales Engineer contributes to the success and growth of the organization's automation business.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $46,896–$83,508 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
This position is also eligible to participate in SMC's Sales Incentive Program (SIP) and includes a company-provided vehicle with company-paid maintenance and fuel.
