Sales Engineer

Hybrid (three days onsite)-London

Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

We are seeking an outstanding Sales Engineer. The Sales Engineer will be chiefly responsible for providing in-depth sales demonstrations of CSC’s Entity Management solution to prospects and existing clients. Other key responsibilities include providing guidance and support to Sales (e.g., pricing, responding to client inquiries, drafting RFI and RFP responses), Product Management, and Operations. The Sales Engineer role is highly consultative, requiring product expertise and a deep understanding of how clients use CSC solutions. In this role, you must be a highly motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Some of things you will be doing:

  • Driving Sales results by conducting sales demonstrations; understanding client needs and mapping them to product capabilities; communicating CSC’s distinctive value proposition
  • Qualifying prospects; analyzing client data prior to scheduled meetings to determine scope and tailor presentations to prospect requirements
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of how clients use CSC solutions; sharing best practices with prospective clients
  • Providing revenue and pipeline reports to Management and Senior Management
  • Providing insights to Product Managers and Senior Management on competitive developments, client requirements, and market trends
  • Drafting responses to RFPs/RFIs and client questions
  • Attending regularly scheduled Operations/Product Management meetings; responding to questions from Operations teams, Strategic Account Management, and others as needed
  • Developing training materials, including user guides and video recordings

What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Excellent presentation skills and sales acumen
  • Strong verbal and written communication ability
  • Ability to troubleshoot client issues
  • Strong technology skills including Microsoft Office suite
  • Positive attitude, highly motivated, and a self-starter
