Sales Engineer

Department: Sales / Marketing

Location: Mexico - Monterrey


Leading sales efforts and driving business growth in Yucatan Peninsula and Bajio markets for water industry products, including pumps, motors, and controls. The role emphasizes delivering excellence through the company’s five keys to success: Quality, Availability, Service, Innovation, and Cost. This individual will build strong customer relationships, manage distribution channels, and ensure company goals are achieved while adhering to regional compliance standards

Key Responsibilities


Represent the company’s commitment to high-quality products in all customer
interactions.
• Ensure product installations and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Gather and relay customer feedback for continuous product and process
improvement.
• Develop a robust network of distributors and partners to ensure product
availability across the region.
• Monitor supply chain performance and coordinate with logistics teams to minimize
delivery lead times.
• Maintain inventory oversight to prevent product shortages.
• Conduct product training for distributors, clients, and end-users.
• Resolve customer issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction and loyalty.
• Provide exceptional customer support, including technical assistance and after-
sales service.
• Develop and execute cost-effective sales strategies while maintaining profitability.
• Analyze and manage pricing models to stay competitive in the market.
• Monitor financial performance, including sales revenues and expenses.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Market Development:
• Research and analyze trends (opportunities and threatens), competitive analysis
in Mexican territory, with special focus on Yucatan Peninsula and Bajio regions.
• Expand the company’s market presence and brand recognition.
2. Reporting and Metrics: • Prepare detailed reports on territory performance, including sales, forecasts, and customer feedback. • Measure and track success against KPIs aligned with the five keys of success.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


• Strong understanding of water systems, pumps, motors, and control technologies.
• Data driven and results-oriented
• Ability for self-learning is highly valuable
• Excellent bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish).
• Proficiency in market analysis, competitors, product understanding, etc.
