This Sales Engineer role will play a key role in driving Samba’s growth across Mexico and Latin America by combining technical expertise with consultative selling strategies to position our enterprise products as trusted solutions for clients. This individual will empower sales teams to close deals effectively while emphasising the measurable value of Samba’s offerings in Media Activation, TV measurement, planning, tune-in analysis, and outcomes-based strategies.

This role requires a balance of technical skill, consultative sales ability, and a client-focused approach. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping sales conversations, demonstrating how Samba’s products solve critical business challenges and deliver ROI, while building strong client relationships across the Mexican and broader LATAM market.

Location: This role will be based in Mexico City and reports to the Director of Sales Engineering.

What You'll Do

  • Build collaborative relationships with enterprise sales teams across Mexico and LATAM as a trusted resource for product and technical expertise.

  • Enhance sales opportunities by joining first-contact client meetings to present all Samba solutions in a trusted, consultative manner — identifying the right product solution, whether a measurement use case or data licensing opportunity.

  • Actively participate in the entire sales cycle, from discovery to closing, leveraging deep knowledge of Samba’s offerings to articulate value and drive decision-making.

  • Promote Samba’s products with a sales-focused mindset while maintaining trust by aligning solutions to genuine client needs.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, analysing clients’ needs to recommend the best Samba products and demonstrating how they deliver measurable results.

  • Probe a client’s business challenges and tailor Samba’s enterprise data or measurement solutions to fit — recommending tune-in or TV outcomes-based solutions where appropriate.

  • Simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences while providing in-depth explanations to technical stakeholders when needed.

  • Address technical challenges collaboratively with Product and Engineering teams, ensuring smooth implementation and seamless client experiences.

  • Leverage expertise in media measurement tools, TV tune-in metrics, and outcomes-based analytics to craft technical solutions that demonstrate Samba’s ability to drive success.

  • Utilise knowledge of APIs, clean rooms, SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) to tailor solutions to client needs.

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Samba’s products, using data insights to guide sales strategies.

  • Partner with internal teams to align product offerings with LATAM market needs, contributing to go-to-market strategies that emphasise measurable client benefits.

  • Represent Samba at client meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions across Mexico and Latin America.

Who You Are

  • 2–4 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Product Management, or a related field in AdTech, Measurement, or MarTech.

  • Strong expertise in media measurement, TV measurement, and data services.

  • Hands-on experience with tools and technologies including SQL, APIs, ETL workflows, and cloud computing platforms.

  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for simplifying technical concepts.

  • Proven ability to pitch, sell, and negotiate with technically minded stakeholders.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English — bilingual communication across client and internal teams is essential for this role.

  • Deep familiarity with the Mexican and/or LATAM advertising and media landscape.
