Together, we will become the world's leading cancer reference laboratory.   The Sales Enablement Specialist will be responsible for developing processes for prospecting and cultivating new business opportunities via lead generation activities. Additional responsibilities include training additional team members, therapeutic pipeline analysis to determine alignment with our offerings, targeted email campaigns, scheduling appointments through contact software application, and evaluating external leads to determine viability.   Success is measured through the ability to  help drive sales opportunities and promote revenue growth. Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop internal processes for developing sales leads for the commercial team, evaluating leads from external sources, and develop tracking mechanisms for lead to contract close success rate.
  • Train new Sales Development team members as needed.
  • Work within BioMedTracker to evaluate clinical trial pipelines and determine needs relating to the NeoGenomics test offerings.
  • Leverage the Apollo contact database to cultivate contact information and send offering campaign emails.
  • Operationalize innovative outbound lead generation via channels including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and industry conferences to accounts and prospects, with support from Scientific Affairs and Marketing
  • Assist Pharma sales team in providing technical and administrative product information
  • Research and identify key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts, and effectively engage them to understand their clinical research needs
  • Plan and implement projects that support the Pharma sales organization
  • Serve as first point of contact for inbound leads, and coordinate with the Pharma sales team to ensure leads are nurtured, qualified, and converted to live opportunities
  • Partner closely with Scientific Affairs, Marketing and other cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals that address clients’ specific requirements
  • Together with the broader marketing team, support the development of scalable marketing and sales development processes and systems
  • Initiate CDA and NDA processes with new clients
  • Initiate and follow RFP processes with new and existing clients with support from cross-functional teams
  • Coordinate with Pharma sales teams to provide sales documentation and satisfy customer requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing on content distribution, total available market analysis and optimization strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities using CRM software
  • May support the Commercial Enablement team, where applicable  
  • Manage external software database relationships and contract renewal timing 
 Experience, Education and Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1+ years’ experience required
  • Demonstrated interest in marketing, sales and/or operations
  • Exceptional and professional communication skills – written, verbal and presentation coupled with excellent listening skills
  • Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships at all levels
  • Experience using social media platforms
  • Analytical thinker who takes a structured data-driven approach to problem solving
  • Intellectually curious individual eager to learn the industry, the product, and each customer’s business
  • Highly organized individual capable of tracking dozens of leads simultaneously and ensure systematic follow up and responsiveness to client requests
  • Able to operate efficiently in an environment of ambiguity  
  • Familiarity with common sales automation tools like Apollo, BioMedTracker, Trial Trove, , Salesforce, and LinkedIn preferred
