The Sales Enablement Manager (NECOA) is accountable for field readiness, learning execution, and performance enablement across a large, distributed field organization (150+ associates). This role owns the design, delivery, reinforcement, and measurement of training initiatives that directly support business priorities, product launches, and sales performance.

This position operates as both a strategic enablement leader and an in‑field execution partner, ensuring training translates into real‑world behavior, confidence, and results. The role requires high visibility with senior leadership, strong cross‑functional coordination, and the flexibility to step into hands‑on field support, fill‑in leadership, and launch execution as needed by the business.

1. Training Impact & Field Readiness

Key Outputs:

  • New hires reach performance readiness within defined ramp timelines
  • Field teams demonstrate consistent application of sales behaviors, product knowledge, and tools
  • Training content is current, relevant, and aligned to business priorities

Responsibilities:

  • Own end‑to‑end delivery of training for new and existing employees, including onboarding, product, sales, tool, policy, and performance training
  • Ensure training methodologies reflect the realities of the field through hands‑on, applied learning
  • Continuously evaluate training effectiveness using field observations, assessments, and performance feedback
  • Adjust training approaches quickly in response to changing business needs, launches, or performance gaps

2. Field Leadership & Execution Support

Key Outputs:

  • Training is reinforced consistently in live field environments
  • Launches are supported with visible, knowledgeable leadership presence
  • Gaps in coverage or leadership are addressed without disruption to execution

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an active field presence through store, market, and regional visits
  • Step in as fill‑in leadership when necessary to support field teams during absences, peak periods, or transitions
  • Support launches by reinforcing messaging, coaching on the floor, and assisting with training late‑arriving or reassigned associates
  • Work retail and extended hours when required to meet launch timelines and field needs
  • Partner with local leadership to drive adoption and execution of training initiatives

3. Trainer Leadership & Capability Building

Key Outputs:

  • Trainers deliver consistent, high‑quality learning experiences
  • Field trainer coverage aligns with business demand
  • Trainer performance improves over time through coaching and feedback

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of up to three (3) field trainers
  • Set expectations for trainer delivery quality, preparedness, and professionalism
  • Provide ongoing coaching, observation feedback, and development guidance
  • Determine staffing requirements based on client needs, seasonal demand, and launch timing

4. Program & Initiative Management

Key Outputs:

  • Training initiatives launch on time and with clear communication
  • Field teams understand what is changing, why it matters, and how to execute
  • Enablement efforts reduce confusion and increase adoption

Responsibilities:

  • Own planning and execution of training initiatives from concept through field adoption
  • Maintain a forward‑looking roadmap of upcoming training needs, tools, and programs
  • Partner cross‑functionally to align timelines, messaging, and expectations
  • Support calendars, contests, and engagement initiatives tied to training and performance goals

5. Executive Communication & Business Insight

Key Outputs:

  • Leaders have visibility into training effectiveness and field readiness
  • Field insights are translated into actionable recommendations
  • Training outcomes influence business decisions

Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver executive‑level PowerPoint presentations highlighting training performance, insights, risks, and opportunities
  • Communicate clearly with senior leadership on training impact, adoption, and gaps
  • Identify trends across markets or regions and elevate insights with recommendations
  • Ensure accurate documentation of counseling and terminations in accordance with policy

6. Compliance, Documentation & Operational Discipline

Key Outputs:

  • Compliance requirements are met consistently
  • Training records are accurate, complete, and timely
  • Administrative processes do not delay business execution

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compliance‑related orientation and mentoring programs accurately
  • Conduct pre‑training outreach to set expectations and confirm logistics
  • Manage post‑training processes including assessments, documentation, rosters, and HR submissions
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support evolving business requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years relevant experience
  • 4+ years experience in training, enablement, communications, or field operations
  • Proven success delivering learning in fast‑paced, distributed environments
  • Experience supporting launches, change initiatives, and new programs
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration and project leadership skills
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and collaboration platforms
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and decision‑making abilities
  • Comfortable operating independently with high accountability

Work Environment & Expectations

  • Field‑based role with approximately 80% travel
  • Ability and willingness to work non‑standard hours, including evenings and weekends as required
  • Retail and launch‑driven environments with time‑sensitive demands
  • Ability to lift and transport training materials (generally under 25 lbs.)
  • Operates with minimal supervision while making business‑impacting decisions
  • Schedule aligned to business needs, typically ‘Varies by need of business’
