The Sales Director Wipes provides leadership and develops the strategic direction for the EMEIA Wipes team.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead and develop the Commercial Team. Creating clear priorities, accountability, strong focus on execution and consistent delivery against commercial targets.
  • Promote engagement, empowerment, continuous improvement and process excellence. Provide direction, coaching, and development to the Regional Wipes Sales Team while enabling team members to operate with ownership and accountability.

Commercial Performance and Excellence

  • Monitor performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Work effectively within a cross-functional team including Product Management, Operations, Finance, Product Development, and HR functional leaders to accelerate execution and resolve business challenges.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on approach and take personal ownership of key commercial opportunities, customer issues, and growth initiatives without requiring extensive day-to-day guidance.
  • Drive sales effectiveness, commercial excellence, disciplined pipeline management, and consistent follow-through.

Strategy, Budgeting and Business Planning

  • Responsible for delivering the growth plan, including Sales and EBITDA targets for the Wipes business segment in EMEIA.
  • Develop and implement business plans that support budget achievement, profitable growth, and the overall business segment strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understand their businesses and needs, and use this knowledge to develop strategies for improved profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Anticipate market trends, competitive developments, and evolving customer needs and positions the business to create a competitive advantage.
  • Identify, develop, and execute new growth opportunities across customers, applications, and markets, with a strong focus on converting opportunities into tangible business results.

Compliance

  • Ensure effective implementation of EHS policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining a strong safety-first culture and appropriate environmental, ergonomic and workplace protection standards.
  • Monitor quality indicators

Projects, Investment and Change Leadership

  • Support investment, capacity and transformation projects, including regional or global initiatives where required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chemistry or similar.

Fluency in English and preferrably 1 or 2 other languages.

A minimum 5 years of experience in senior sales leadership roles and more than 10 years of relevant B2B sales experience.

Strong experience and understanding of the European wipes market is required. Experience in professional, industrial, or institutional wipes is strongly preferred.
