We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive / Director to join our team and lead sales initiatives targeting food factories.

The ideal candidate will have a robust hunting profile with a proven track record of identifying opportunities, building strong relationships, and closing deals in the food industry.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target the food industry and drive revenue growth for the food testing business. This includes identifying target markets, creating detailed marketing strategies, and defining clear objectives to expand the customer base and increase market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through existing clientele, cold calling, networking, and market research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers such as quality assurance managers, procurement heads, and health and safety officials in the food industry.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, customer service, and operations to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and continuous professional development opportunities to the sales team. This involves coaching, mentoring, conducting performance reviews, and maximizing team effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and decide on new business opportunities and sales tactics by assessing market trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and progress to senior management.

Qualifications

In order to succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in business, Marketing, Science or a related field from an accredited University
  • Minimum of 18 years of sales experience in CDSCO/GLP approved, USFDA inspected Labs/s with a strong focus on hunting and business development for Pharma Testing Services in the Pharma industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Hands-on experience
  • Proficient in Computer Skills, CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong Existing network of contacts within the Drugs & Pharma Testing industry.
