Job Description

The Company

Our client is an industry leader for providing digital platforms crafted for telecom operators, banks, financial services organizations, and other enterprises. They provide solutions for BSS, banking and fintech, AI-led marketing automation and messaging platforms, which have been recognized by leading research firms, including Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Frost & Sullivan, ISG, Juniper Research, Rocco Research, amongst others.


The Role

  • Excellent communication skills are required.

  • 13 + years of experience & 7-8 years of experience in Telco sales in the region or in a technical telco role

  • Ability to work unsupervised with high levels of productivity.

  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

  • Ability to stay updated with technology.

  • A university degree or college diploma in business or technical education or another relevant field is required.


Responsibilities

To drive the company’s penetration and positioning within the Nordic Region (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway) through executive mapping at key levels at different Operators.

  • Grow customer relationships in the region.

  • Identify new sales opportunities and help create and close new deals.

  • Lead the process internally regarding bids (RFI’s/RFP’s) pertaining to new and existing customers.

  • Help promote and build brand equity of the company within the senior executive/CXOs of Telcos and Enterprises in the region through CXO level meetings, workshops, etc

  • Deliver the AOP target finalized for the region for each financial year!

  • Develop, implement, and report on marketing plans and sales strategies to achieve business goals!

  • Assess market conditions and competitors’ activities and develop an awareness of emerging opportunities and trends.

  • Develop sales presentations, proposals, or other materials to illustrate benefits from use of products or services!

  • Write and submit accurate commercial proposals.

  • Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.

  • Assess clients’ needs, recommend or assist in the selection of appropriate products or services, and negotiate prices or other sales terms.

  • Prepare and administer sales contracts and maintain customer records.

  • Identify and solicit potential clients.

  • Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

  • Maintain an updated database in sales database including all activities, partners, and opportunities with their status.
