To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and inspiring Sales Director (m/f/d) to lead our Mixer Products business across Europe.

Location: Germany, France, Italy | Remote | Regional Leadership Role

Your Impact

As Sales Director (m/f/d), Xylem Mixer Products Europe, you will hold full commercial responsibility for one of Xylem's key product businesses across the European region.

This is a highly visible leadership role with full accountability for revenue growth, profitability, market expansion, and organizational performance. You will lead and develop an international sales organization, shape the growth strategy for the business, and build strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.

You will play a critical role in accelerating growth, strengthening market leadership, and delivering sustainable business results while fostering a high-performance culture aligned with Xylem's values.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership & Growth

• Own the overall sales performance, order intake, revenue growth, profitability, and P&L results for the Mixer Products business across Europe
• Define and execute the regional sales strategy and business plan in alignment with Xylem's long-term objectives
• Identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities, strategic partnerships, key account expansion initiatives, and market development opportunities
• Drive sustainable growth while ensuring operational excellence and commercial discipline

Sales Performance Management

• Monitor business performance against financial and strategic objectives and implement corrective actions where required
• Lead accurate forecasting, pipeline management, opportunity development, and CRM excellence through Salesforce
• Oversee pricing strategies, commercial governance, contract approvals, and risk management processes
• Deliver executive-level reporting and business reviews to senior leadership

Customer & Market Leadership

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, industry associations, and market influencers
• Represent Xylem externally and strengthen our position as a trusted market leader
• Partner with Marketing to maximize market visibility through trade shows, customer events, industry engagements, and targeted growth initiatives
• Ensure a customer-centric approach that delivers sustainable value and long-term partnerships

People Leadership & Talent Development

• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales leaders and sales teams across Europe
• Drive succession planning, talent development, employee engagement, and leadership growth
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and performance excellence
• Lead recruitment, performance management, and organizational development activities across the region

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Applications Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Service teams to ensure successful execution of business strategies
• Drive organizational alignment and leverage best practices across divisions and regions
• Ensure teams and channel partners have the resources, tools, and support required to achieve their objectives

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Significant commercial leadership experience within industrial, technical, or engineered products businesses
• Proven success leading international sales organizations and developing sales leaders
• Strong track record of delivering revenue growth, profitability improvement, and market expansion
• Demonstrated experience with strategic planning, sales execution, and P&L responsibility
• Strong leadership capabilities with a passion for coaching, talent development, and building high-performing teams
• Experience working across complex matrix organizations and global business environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level interaction
• Experience with CRM systems and sales performance management processes
• Fluency in English required; additional European languages are advantageous
