We are seeking a proactive and results-orientedSales Directorto join our US team.This individual contributor role is centered on driving new business growth and expanding GFS’s customer base. The position focuses on hands-on prospecting, pipeline development, and converting new opportunities into long-term customers. The successful candidate willbe responsible foridentifyingand pursuing new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets across ocean, air, and intermodal freightforwarding
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in ocean, air, and intermodal transportation.
Develop a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, and customer visits.
Build andmaintainlong-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
Collaborate with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Prepare and deliver customized proposals and pricing solutions to meet customer needs.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback toidentifygrowth opportunities.
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates on customeractivitytomanagement.
Attend relevant industry events and trade shows to expand networks and promote GFS’s capabilities.
Ensure all sales activitiescomply withcompany policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, ora relatedfield.
Proven experience in freightforwardingorlogisticssales with a strong record of new business acquisition.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-driven, resilient, and capable of working independently to meet targets.
Solid understanding of internationallogistics, trade lanes, and customs processes.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

Compensation/Benefits:
The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $135,000.00. Theoffered salaryor salary range for this position will vary based on role requirements, skillsetand years of experience.
