Sapiens is a leading global provider of software solutions for the insurance industry. We are seeking a Sales Manager/Director to focus on generating new business for our Life & Pensions Division. Proven experience selling SaaS, complex software or transformation and change solutions to large enterprises is essential; insurance industry knowledge is a strong advantage but not a requirement.

Working model: Dubai (Remote working model), with regular global travel expectations.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for generating incremental sales within the customer base and new logos in the Life and Pensions domain.
• Undertake and be accountable for necessary lead generation activities to drive penetration of target organizations.
• Accurately assess and qualify opportunities.
• Be accountable for the development and execution of the sales strategy. Drive the sales process through each stage of the sales cycle including Qualification, Develop, Solution and Prove, through to Close.
• Engage and work confidently with senior business management and 'C' level executives, to progress sales opportunities.
• Manage relationships with key executives’ clients to create trust and partnerships.
• Produce accurate forecasts of pending business to enable sales management to consolidate accurate forecasts.
• Act as professional ambassador for Sapiens, communicating the company ethos to prospects and customers.
• Attend seminars, exhibitions and trade shows, as required.

Requirements

• Extensive sales experience selling complex enterprise solutions (SaaS, technology, digital transformation or change management) into large, regulated organisations. Insurance, and ideally Life and Pensions, knowledge is an advantage.
• Proven track record working for a Born-in-the-Cloud or Cloud-Native technology company, or a consultancy or technology provider delivering transformation and change programmes, ideally within SaaS, insurance or financial services platforms, or cloud-based ecosystems.
• Proven track record of closing high value deals (£10M+) as well as cross selling to existing customers.
• Practical experience of dealing at ‘C’ level.
• Business understanding of the insurance or financial services sector, including the technology and platforms available, or the ability to build this quickly.
• Understands a consultative selling approach, able to work with colleagues within the client’s buyer network and be able to craft solutions that will provide business benefits.
