We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Sales Director to lead our Central South East Europe region. In this strategic leadership role, you will drive profitable growth, strengthen our market presence, develop high-performing teams, and contribute to our sustainability ambitions while creating long-term value for our customers and partners.

What you will be doing

  • Lead and further develop the CSEE business in alignment with the overall SU strategy.
  • Develop and coach the regional sales team to support long-term business ambitions.
  • Drive profitable growth and execute the regional sales strategy, with full responsibility for volume, revenue, margin and EBIT.
  • Lead contract negotiations in close cooperation with the legal department.
  • Establish, maintain and expand sustainable relationships with key fabricators, customers, investors and business partners.
  • Build and manage a strong project pipeline across the region.
  • Collaborate with local and cross-border fabricators to secure and develop projects.
  • Strengthen and develop the WICONA brand presence within the allocated marketing budget.
  • Build a strong industry network through events, associations and professional social media activities.
  • Execute the company’s sustainability and circularity strategy within the CSEE region.
  • Monitor market developments, regulations and business trends and provide relevant business intelligence.
  • Act as an active member of the SU DACH CSEE management team.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable company policies and regulations.

What will make you successful?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a commercial, business or technical field.
  • Several years of professional experience in sales leadership roles, ideally within the building envelope, facade or construction industry.
  • Proven experience in international sales and business development.
  • Strong customer focus and confidence in direct customer interactions.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving ambitious sales targets and business results.
  • Excellent leadership, people management and coaching capabilities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a structured and independent way of working.
  • High willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Fluent in English and Serbo-Croatian; German is considered an advantage.
  • Collaborative leadership style and strong team-player mentality.
