  • Develop, execute and manage strategies and sales plans to generate revenue and gross margin
  • Develop a thorough market understanding to direct technology and innovation efforts to intersect customer and market need.
  • Excel in finding, qualifying new customers and rapidly build positive business relationships.
  • Find solutions for both articulated and unarticulated market and customer needs.
  • Make sales calls on new markets, and/or existing customers and markets
  • Expected travel 5 days/month
  • Create the customer value proposition of the products and/or services being offered and/or developed.
  • Work closely with internal departments – Innovation, Advanced Manufacturing, Design, Strategic Accounts, Integration, Operations, Finance and Accounting and People Resources to achieve performance objectives.
  • Establish and maintain contact with key customers to ensure highest possible customer relationships and satisfaction.
  • Make research and sales calls on new markets, and/or customers.
  • Provide on-going input into key business systems – Gate Process, Forecasting, Metrics, etc.
  • Ensure on going market and competitive information is being obtained and utilized for decision making relative to products and services, pricing, and business opportunities.
  • Facilitate the development of business agreements, pricing and contracts with customers.
  • On-going development (internal learning and development, external conferences, literature, wellness, etc.).
  • Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals.
  • Environmental responsibility is our commitment to our communities.
  • Proper disposal of waste such as recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected.
  • Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.
  • Ability to deliver on sales plan and revenue targeting profit.

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.

Education and/or Experience:

Expected Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university

PreferredBusiness, marketing, engineering or related field undergraduate degree. Advanced degree – technical or MBA

Communication Skills:

  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
  • Excellent oral and written communication with proven strong persuasive communication.
  • Strong relationship building skills

Other Skills:

  • Deliver on sales plan, revenue goals, and target profit.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and proven ability to create solutions
