Job Description

The Sales Director is a senior-level business development role responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new client partnerships across enterprise and mid-market sectors. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through strategic solution selling, stakeholder engagement, and building long-term value for clients in the recruitment and workforce solutions space. The Sales Director operates independently, managing their own sales pipeline and working closely with internal teams to transition opportunities into successful, scalable partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
• Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within target industries and regions.
• Execute an individualised sales plan aligned to revenue, margin, and strategic growth objectives.
• Represent the organisation professionally in all stages of the sales cycle, from initial engagement to close.
• Conduct consultative sales discussions to understand client challenges, workforce needs, and buying triggers.
• Develop tailored proposals and workforce solutions, collaborating with internal teams as needed.
• Present compelling value propositions to C-level and senior stakeholders.
• Maintain deep understanding of service offerings (e.g., contingent recruitment, project hiring, RPO, MSP, talent advisory).
• Own all elements of the sales process: pipeline development, qualification, proposal writing, commercial negotiations, and contract execution.
• Use CRM to manage leads, track activity, forecast revenue, and maintain data integrity.
• Prepare and deliver regular reporting on pipeline progress and deal status.
• Monitor and report on industry trends, client behaviours, competitor activity, and emerging market opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, events, and lead-generation initiatives.
• Partner with delivery, operations, and account teams to ensure seamless handover and onboarding of new clients.

Key Outcomes
• Achieve or exceed annual individual sales revenue and gross margin targets.
• Build a qualified, sustainable sales pipeline aligned to strategic markets.
• Win new clients that align with the company’s target industries and service capabilities.
• Deliver accurate sales forecasting, CRM data, and commercial documentation.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity, and strategic thinking throughout the sales cycle.

Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
• Familiarity with ATS/CRM systems and LinkedIn Recruiter (preferred)
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within recruitment, workforce solutions, or professional services.
• Proven success in winning mid-to-large-scale clients through complex, consultative sales.
• Experience selling solutions such as recruitment projects, RPO, MSP, or high-volume staffing is highly regarded.
• Highly motivated individual contributor with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Skilled at navigating long sales cycles and complex buying structures.
• Resilient, persistent, and solutions-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
• Proficient in CRM tools and disciplined in sales reporting and forecasting.
• Travel Requirements up to 30%
