Job Description

Our client is a software company specializing in automation solutions for the graphic communications and commercial print industry. Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Wheaton, Illinois, with a regional presence in Valencia, Spain, they offer a suite of cloud-based tools designed to streamline web-to-print services, job management, and prepress workflows. 
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director – North America to lead our sales efforts in the region. This senior role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and managing the end-to-end sales process for their solutions. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in SaaS sales—preferably within print, packaging, or marketing automation—and is passionate about helping customers solve real-world workflow challenges through technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed annual revenue targets across the U.S. and Canada.

  • Drive new business development through direct sales efforts, channel partners, and inbound leads.

  • Identify and prioritize target accounts based on market potential and customer fit.

  • Present the product suite to prospects via demos, webinars, and on-site visits.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in commercial print shops, in-plants, and marketing service providers.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on messaging, product positioning, and client onboarding.

  • Analyse pipeline metrics and sales performance to continuously improve conversion rates and shorten the sales cycle.

  • Represent the business at trade shows, conferences, and industry events across North America.

  • Provide regular sales forecasts, updates, and insights to the executive team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or enterprise sales role.

  • Proven success selling SaaS, workflow automation, or print technology solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of the print industry, web-to-print, MIS, or prepress software is highly preferred.

  • Skilled in consultative selling, value-based conversations, and complex deal navigation.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment.

  • Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and modern sales tools.

  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30%).
